About Walk Wellington

Walk Wellington has been running guided walking tours in Wellington city since November 1999.

In June 2005 we became part of Living Streets Aotearoa, a not-for-profit incorporated society which promotes walking as a means of transport and recreational activity. For more information about Living Streets Aotearoa see their website at the above link.

Walk Wellington is run co-operatively by a team of trained and experienced guides. Each guide has their own particular interests (for example history, the arts, shopping) and all are trained to give an absolutely, positively, fantastic general introduction to New Zealand’s capital city. All guides are passionate Wellingtonians and love to have a chance to show off their home town.

The easiest way to contact us is by email. We aim to get back to you within 24 hours. 

There is no need to book ahead for Daily Wellington Walks ( please arrive 15 minutes before the walk is scheduled to begin), but 4 weeks notice is required for Group Walks.
